Tools reference

Tools are grouped by the per-domain endpoint that exposes them. Connect to the endpoint for a domain (see Getting Started) and its tools become available to your client.

Note

These pages are curated: they group the tools by theme and add the context a generator cannot. Tool names are pinned to the source by CI, so nothing here can name a tool that no longer exists.

For the complete argument list of every tool, read the Full tool reference instead. Those pages are written straight from each package’s registrations by scripts/gen-tool-docs.mts, and the same data is served as JSON at /tools-manifest.json.

diagrams, spec-builder, task-assigner, documents, entity-connections, ux-map and sheets are one endpoint, not seven — dfl-mcp-engineering is a single umbrella package (https://engineering.mcp.devfellowship.com/mcp) covering all seven tool groups. Add it once; you get all seven tool sets. The generated engineering page lists them together, as the client sees them.
